The faces of Amplo Property

The seed for Amplo Property was first sewn in September 2018 when Scott Williams (previously of Landlord Property Group) and Matthew Timms (formerly of MET Investments) got together and decided to partner as they both shared the same ethos of socially responsible investing.

Socially responsible investing, also known as sustainable investing is a socially conscious investment strategy which seeks to consider both financial return and social good to bring about a positive change.

Matthew previously started and was a major shareholder and director in a successful affiliate marketing business for over 4 years which he exited in December 2016 at the age of 25. After taking some time off to reflect on what to do next he started his property portfolio in July 2017 by purchasing a Freehold block of 4 flats on the Wirral. Since then he has continued to have great success within property, investing in a further 5 single let houses which he has bought, refurbished and refinanced. He has then gone on to convert 3 Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMO).

Scott started in property development back in 2015 where he assisted on the conversion of a 3 bed detached house to a 5 bed Sandbach. Having started out on the building site, Scott fell in love with the industry and quickly realised that he’d found his true calling in life. From developments Scott then moved into residential and HMO lettings, so that he could learn different dynamics of the business. During his career in property Scott has renovated houses, managed tenants, and sourced quality investments for himself and clients.

At Amplo Property our mission is two fold. Firstly we aim to give our investors first-hand access to the North West property market by providing a bespoke investment service that will produce bank beating returns.

We offer two forms of investment opportunities; the first of these is a fixed return investment. If you would like to get your capital working for you, but don’t want the hassle of buying, selling or letting properties then our fixed return option may be the one for you. How does it work? You can support one of our investments in the form of a loan to Amplo and receive a fixed return on your cash either monthly or annually depending on your requirements.

A fixed return investment is easy to understand and you will typically receive an annual of interest rate of between 6-8%. 

The second of these is a turn-key service. How does a Turn Key service work? We source properties that are tailored to your specification, once we have mitigated a price on your behalf, we will support the acquisition of the property through to exchange. We will then manage your renovation projects from start to finish, whether that’s a light refurbishment on a 2-bed property or a full 5 bed HMO conversion. We have the team/tradesmen in place to make sure the work is completed to a high standard within budget and on time. Once your property has been refurbished we will manage all tenant and property maintenance logistics. We will also track your compliance making sure you are running a legal property.

Secondly we pride ourselves on providing our tenants with fantastic places to live and are sure they are proud to call one of our houses home. We like to think we are raising the bar when it comes to co-living. We specialise in 2/3 bed terrace houses and professional standard HMO’s (Houses of Multiple Occupation). If you are moving into one of our houses you can have peace of mind in the fact the property will have recently been fully refurbished to provide the highest standard of living.
